Former L&YR Class 2 2-4-2T No.10897 in Departmental use, with the Test Train at Ashbourne Station. The running tests commenced on November 11th, 1948 with outward journeys starting from Uttoxeter at 10.55am, arriving at Buxton at 12.43pm and then returning at 2.40pm with arrival at Uttoxeter at 4.30pm.
